All data is stored exclusively in German data centers (AWS Frankfurt, eu-central-1). No data leaves the European Union. We do not use external CDNs, tracking tools or third-party analytics services.

A mandant is an isolated organizational unit within finvantage — for example, a client of a multi-family office. Each mandant has its own data, users and permissions. Data is strictly separated at the application level.

Yes. The Professional plan includes full API access with OAuth 2.0 authentication and webhooks. You can integrate finvantage with your existing systems, automate data imports and build custom workflows.

You can import portfolios, investments and transactions via CSV upload. We also support manual data entry and are building integrations for common banking APIs. Our onboarding team helps with data migration for Professional customers.

Yes. There is no minimum contract period. You can cancel your subscription at any time — it remains active until the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, you have 30 days to export your data.

No. All plans — including Premium — can be cancelled monthly. Annual billing offers a discount but is not mandatory. The Starter plan is free forever with no time limit.

finvantage is an information and management platform, not a regulated financial services provider. No BaFin license is required. However, our security architecture is designed to meet the standards expected in the financial industry — including encryption, audit trails and GDPR compliance.

Security is our foundation: TLS 1.3 encryption, AES-256-GCM for sensitive data at rest, mandatory two-factor authentication, Argon2id password hashing, immutable audit logs and strict mandant isolation. Read more on our security page.
